The Myth of The Golden Knife in Call of Duty 4

One of the best intarweb myths about Call of Duty 4 is that of the Golden Knife. The basic story circulated across forums and multiplayer servers is that you can unlock the Gold camouflage for the knife by getting 150 knife headshots. There are plenty of variations on the requirements such as completing every single challenge in multiplayer, beating single player on veteran or destroying 150 watermelons. The stories were at their height at around the time of April Fool’s so most people were able to figure out the story was false. That said I am sure you can still find gullible noobs still trying to get those last 10 knife headshots they need to complete their quest for uber leetness. So to keep that hope alive in the heart of noobs everywhere I did a little work in photoshop and made this.

The bottom line: The golden knife does not exist, but it would be sooooo cool if it did.

lol i wish it was true but i don’t really think you get a gold knife after completing all challenges or story mode on veteran, but you never know, it might be true D= lol

The golden knife is real I’m not lying I was killed by it in a custom match some guy had it I don’t know him and he wont tell me how he got it and at the time I thought everyone knew how to get it I was always a Halo fan and didn’t like cod much but just borrow the game again it been a really long time about a year or longer but really like it now so I never ask again about it till I seen on the web just now everyone saying it fake I seen it in a match and will never forget it kinda look longer than the normal knife but it was def gold killed by it about 3 time he also had all the golden weapon and no I don’t know who he is or his gamer tag wish I did tho I want answer to how he was able to get it.It might of been some kind of cheat or something but he the only guy I ever seen with it and the other day I played against a guy who can’t die me and 3 other people shot him at close range with everything we had and he just ran at us and knife all of us like it was nothing his gamer tag is Axoul du 62 if you see him report him please or just add to report him for tampering the cheatest person in the game trust me and my gamer tag is o ashly o but again I’m not lying and I seriously hate lier wish people would post more truth and no lie.
