Pistols are probably the most underrated and underused weapon class in Call of Duty 4. But choosing the correct sidearm is important because it is your only backup plan after your Primary Weapon. So lets take a close look at the four Pistols available; like ever other review our data is coming from our beautiful Weapon Stats Chart.
M9 – The M9 has an average 40-20 damage like every non Deagle pistol. It’s strong point is it’s high capicity of 15 rounds per clip, it’s low point the very unimpressive 250-500 range. The 15 round clip is cute, but if you need 15 shots to get a kill your time is better spent practicing your aim. Read more

This is probably the most important piece of Call of Duty 4 related strategy information out there. Knowing exactly how the weapons work on their most basic level is the key to making smart weapon choices and in turn improving at Call of Duty.
This chart is totally up to date with the latest game tweaks, and the information comes from the actual program files of the game. Do not trust the in game bar graphs that are supposed to display the weapon stats, they are totally wrong. Be sure to look at the damage multipliers as well as the initial damage for each weapon, when you multiply the two you get the final bullet damage. Last updated September 18, 2008.
