COD4 Movement Stats Chart

Being able to move and position yourself quickly and efficiently can be the difference between life and death in Call of Duty 4. In addition to our plethora of other resource charts we now have a movement chart. The chart is based off the normal 1.0 walking speed of a player. So each multiplier tells you how fast or slow the movement is compared to forward walking speed.

Call of Duty 4 Movement Stats Chart

Please comment if you have any thoughts or questions about the chart. Here are some other small notes related to movement in Call of Duty.

- Carrying heavier weapons like LMG’s will cause you to move slightly slower than if you were carrying a lighter weapon.

- The 4 second sprint time can be increased with other multipliers from Extreme Conditioning or equipping a P90 or M21 on PC’s.

That’s not interesting. Why don’t you compare the SMGs? That would be great!
    (sry for my english)

Sorry you don’t find it interesting but knowing the best way to move is a key component of Call of Duty. Do you mean compare movement the movement speed of SMG’s or compare the actual weapons? In terms of movement they all go at the same speed. If there is enough interest I may do a SMG weapon comparison in the future, they are one of the most difficult and interesting classes to compare.

Does the “Scope Walk” count only for sniper and acog scopes or is the speed same also to when aiming down ironsights? Also it would be interesting to know does the mobility affect movement speed or just the aim turning speed of weapons, like how SMGs are faster to turn with when aiming than assault rifles or are they also faster to move with?

Yes Scope Walk slows down your movement when you aim with Ironsights as well as Red Dot and ACOG. I will look into how mobility affects aiming speed and mouse sensitivity, my initial guess is that it doesn’t, but I could be wrong. Keep in mind the movement speed between heavier and lighter weapons is pretty small.

sidewalking seems %50 faster with an smg than an lmg

what about a scoped, sideways walk? like if you scope and try to juke? would it be 1*.8*.8 ?

I experienced that walking ironsighted with an SMG is faster than with an assault, but maybe it was just imagination. If anybody feels the same, tell me!
