- Do not use hard hitting snipers. This means the R700 and 50 Cal are out. Do not use them. The extra damage they offer is 90% of the time redundant due to hardcore having 30% of stock health.
- If you’re sniping, get used to the M21. This sniper has virtually no recoil and will kill in a shot in most cases. The damage is lower than the other snipers yet sufficient for a KO in HC.
- If you’re stealth sniping, use either the M16,M4 or G3 silenced. G3 silenced is recommended but avoid knifing people. Remember to use UAV Jammer.
- Do not use Stopping Power/Juggernaut/Sonic Boom. If you’re wondering what to use for Perk 2, go with either Double Tap (which is better than Stopping Power in almost all cases in HC), Overkill, Sleight of Hand, or UAV Jammer. I suggest UAV Jammer. It is undoubtedly the best perk in hardcore modes.
- Do not use martyrdom. -50 points isn’t worth it.
- See where and how allies died. Check the map often by pressing START. If an ally died from a knife, you can be sure an enemy is there.

Noobtubing/RPGs:
These are the most efficient weapons in HC. At long range, they are not as nooby as they sound, for it takes some skill to aim them. Practice the noob tube’s arc and the RPG’s random swerving. With luck, you will manage to get a kill or two every round.

Best class in HC???
My answer is:
G3 grenade launcher, pistol of your choice, with UAV Jammer and Steady Aim.
The G3’s iron sights are perfect for encounters at all ranges, the accuracy is high, no sway, no recoil. Kills in a shot in most cases. Just make sure you have good connection. That’s all there is to say. In HC TDM, you can switch the noobtube for a silencer and have bandolier as your first perk. Stealth snipers are the way to go in HC.
