i jz installed cod4 without any other installed version and been playing well,but suddenly this morning they say i cant see servers to play in because they have all updated to 1.7?so i downloaded the 1.7 patch(here) and tried to install it,but it says please install the 1.6 patch 1st before installing 1.7??helpp??
yo dude did u even read that 1.6 is required to be instaled b4 instalation of 1.7 patch?
thus 1.6 patch to be followed by 1.7 patch
but then u cant delete them patches
so b4 u install ur beloved patches and find out that ur game lags and u cant play it
safe back up the game file/folders to ur desk top so u rename it
after u patched u can then go to safed file/folder that were renamed and safed and play on origional 1.0 patch
in case u screw some shiit up u can alwayes go to ur back up game to fix
this patch is gaj so u fukt it!
Hey I bought the 1.7 version by mistake. Is their any way I can delete the 1.7 version and play the 1.0 versions like I intended to? Or will i have to buy another game? Is their a online patch avalible?

I installed the patch but I can’t find any 1.7 patched servers to connect to. Every server says 1.6 is installed, not compatable.

Hey. I was having problems playing multiplayer Ihad the 1.7 patch i stopped playing 6 months ago now my connection to servers times out. I reinstalled the game installed patches 1.4-1.7 now I cant see any servers so I reinstalled the game Im back to version 1.0 I dont see any servers any idea which patches I should start downloading or how can I play.Pleas help me out thx

DON’T DOWNLOAD ANY PATCHES, MINE WORKED FINE UNTIL I DOWNLOAD THE 1.6 PATCH NOW I CANT FIND ANY LOCAL SERVERS, ALL THE SERVERS I CONNECT TO NOW HAS AROUND 700 TO 900 PING. WHEN I JUST INSTALL THE GAME WITHOUT PATCHES I GET SERVERS WITH PINGS AROUND 53 TO 120. AND FOR THOSE OF U THAT HAVE PB PROBLEMS JUST UPDATE PB PROBLEM SOLVED NO MORE WAIT TIMES AND NO MORE GETTING KICKED FOR PACKET LOSS…
hey guys, i have updated my COD4 to 1.7 and installed pezbot 7 according to his instructions (may i ignore the waypoint stuff if im not interested in fiddling with waypoints?)
anyway, i cannot see a server? im not using a dedicated server and i wanna play my client on the same tin as the server….. do i select NO/ LAN in server type? neither is working… guys im busy pulling my hair out… pls !!
