Source, Have you seen the ‘name changer’ ??? It’s a hack, so that the hacker’s name changes to another person’s name (who is in the same server) every time…..so people could not nominate the hacker to be kick…..there isn’t any ‘cure’ for those kind of hacks…..Maybe you could help me ?? The only way to kick this person, is probably with admin but in the server i played, the admin isn’t always there.

Anonymous, I own CoDJumper.com, and we like to think of ourselves as finding new and exciting jumps. Sure, some of the jumps (particularly out of the map jumps) are glitches, but most of the jumps are what we consider to be legitimate jumps which shouldn’t be categorised as ‘glitching’.

For instance, getting on top of a roof that most people can’t get on. Just because most people can’t get on it doesn’t mean it should be called a glitch. If they took the time, they could work out how to get on the roof. It’s effectively the same as real life – if you were at war and you saw a good position you could go to, it’s not as though you wouldn’t be allowed just because most other people wouldn’t have the intelligence to go there too.

I am, of course, fully against hacking/cheating. I just feel that ‘glitch’ is a word used way too often. Looking through walls and getting out maps = glitches. Getting on top of hard to reach places = not glitches. It’s not a bug, it’s a feature!

dang you own it?……… i play on 360 and i have never encountered and hackers well only one but he sucked anyway… and i only do the common glitches… getting on top of wet work and outside of district but thats about it.

Pedsdude, that is a great response and exactly what I was talking about. Your site CoDJumper and the other site mapMonkeys are the best places to see if what the ‘cheater’ is doing is actually cheating. We must watch your videos in order to know if they make the jump legitimately or by using a glitch. There are multiple ways to jump such as the ‘freeze jump’ on xbox360 or a CoD2 grenade jump or CoD4 rocket jump or ‘freeze jump’. I’m not sure as to which are aloud in competitive play and which are not (for example: jumping on a teammates head).

Anonymous, I am the Co-Founder and Co-Owner of mapMonkeys.com. I do not consider any jump that is done with or without a rocket a ‘glitch’. Many of the ‘jumps’ on our site are very much considered fair play. The jumps that fall into the ‘glitch’ category in my opinion are ones that allow you to shoot through or from behind cover (i.e. under ground), yet the opponent’s bullets are unable to be fired back.
We have however discovered some glitches/bugs that don’t involve jumping at all. We do not advocate the use of these to assist in winning a match. We show them simply for entertainment and educational purposes.
I love playing CoD4 on XBox360 because we don’t have the issue of AIM BOTS or WALL HACKS. I would be very disappointed to find out (after I was dead) that I was shot with the assistance of an external program.

Does anyone tried these on PS3?
I’ve already known some of them but most the new ones I can’t make.
Eg. on mapmonkeys / Backlot map / “W Pegs to a balcony” I can’t…

It is important to note the difference between strategic jumping, a legitimate tactic, and glitching which is a form of cheating. Strategic jumping is simply getting to locations that perhaps your average player could not get to, but it is not taking advantage of any bugs in the code. Taking advantage of glitches, like being able to see through the trains on Pipeline is an illegitimate tactic because it takes advantage of bugs in the code and is not remotely realistic. I fully support jumping sites like the ones mentioned above because they are strategy sites just like this one with the goal of improving players and therefore the game.

Playing on consoles like the Xbox 360 and PS3 makes you far from immune to hackers and aimbotters. A knowledgeable player can still hack the game just as easily as the PC version. The difference is the hacks are more difficult to distribute to a wider audience because consoles are restricted platforms, unlike the open platform of a computer.

I was in a game today with someone and i think he used what you called (Speed Hacks) When he would see me my connection would go, and it would flash Connection Interrupted just like it would if your just about to be thrown out of a normal game. He would line my head up shoot, (Get a headshot) then run off until he See’s me the next time. So is this Speed Hacking, and there really is no way to prove that this person is doing it?!? This was terrible, i couldnt believe it when i was in the game, i put my headset on after i messed with him saying i would report him and he got all touchy and started saying you havent reported me have you? bla bla and he knew what he was doing. It was as if he was able to stop my connection for as long as he wanted whilst he got what he wanted

Hey hey, I noticed some MLG clan boys using the speed hack, not sure if it was this exact hack but it kinda fits the discription. Took me and another buddy out in literally 1 second over and over again without us even firing a single shot. When I saw the kill cam it showed him taking at least 10 seconds unloading on 2 of us without us even firing (thats a pretty long time too lol). I figured this was a lag issue so we tried a different room and happen to come accross him again and the same problem occurred. I was wondering if the MLG clan are the same people hosting the MLG tournaments or if they’re just some kids with the tag. More importantly just giving the heads up about watching out for the MLG clan tag on COD4 for the ps3.

Just played on PS3 Cage Match, every time the enemy was In front of me and I shoot FIRTST the “CONNECTION INTERRUPTED” notice came uo and I was dead. He seemed to be using a lag/latency glitch.
DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW HE DID IT?.
I stood behind him, when I fired my first bullet the message came up instanly, and then I died.
MY theory: He must have some kinda upload hug programm which he can turn on very quick, to manipulate the connection towards me.
The connection seemed fine, it ONLY happened when he saw me, or heard me!!.

I came up against an extra armor hack. I unloaded 15-20 rounds with an RPD before he would die at very close range. There were several in the clan and every time I came up against one of them it would take several direct hit before they would die. The others in the game died normally. After the game I mentioned that it seem like someone had exter armor and the -poof- the clan in question vanished. I think they were (disc) or disco clan – I’m not 100% sure…

I build rapid-fire controllers (those with a mod chip, customized rapid-fire button, and potentiometer) for the purpose of entertainement, not to use constantly in every game and get the “cheating” attention that most cheaters want. However, showing off an automatic G3, 50.Cal sniper rifle, desert eagle, etc., should be done without actually killing any or all of the opposing players. I usually do this with firends that know how to tell others when one is really cheating or just showing off a neat glitch/mod.

Hacks ruin games their fine if your playing with friends and stuff but can be very damaging if the hacks or aimbots actually gained popularity within the online gaming comunity it would ruin the game entirely.

Well guys, its good to know there are many of us that are against hackers but unfortunitly, we are out numbered. It amazes me how many sites are out there offering Hax. Writing to Activision does no good. They dont care. They still get their long lines when a game first comes out. They make their millions. I mean after all, its just a game right?
What pisses me off the most are the hackers that deny being a hacker and say “spec me dude” . The worst hackers are the ones that are the server owners/clans. Those that say a simple mod is not a hack is a load of crap. If you alter the game for YOUR advantage to have an advantage over those that play the game the way it as written, well your a big NO TALANT LOSER AND YES, YOUR A HACKER!
I play the game well and I hate being called a noob by the hacker who has stats that make it soooo obvious that hes using some sort of hack. Again there are just so many of them out there and there are many hacks that multiple options for different hacks to be turned on or off.

I understand the complaints of some people about hacks and agree with them…..But I use hacks myself and enjoy using them. I dont see hacks as lazy or anything, its just funner to have that unfair advantage over everyone AND most hackers only play on non PB servers so if you avoid those you avoid hacks….

I think a lot of servers dont’ have PB on them because it kicks all the people who use pirated copies. Those that use hacks on those servers are taking advantage of people that, as a curtesy to them, allow them to play on their server without a legitimate copy. Anybody wonder why games are so expensive?

I run two quite large clans UK* and WAR* and have a hell of a lot of contacts in the 360 world. Not one single person in our clan use hacks and most have become very experienced and skilled. Most of us have the mod pads but I don’t even bother using mine as most of the time it is unneccesary due to experience (besides the M4 rules). I too would love to try out the various mods just for curiosity’s sake. I mean who doesn’t want to fly round the map in god mode. The difference is I wouldn’t use the mod day in day out just to gain an advantage over some other poor sucker and this is where it spoils things. I agree that getting to a place others with less experience may not be able too is not cheating and to the hackers I say have fun but don’t spoil the gaming community by introducing your hacks into main stream gaming. Keep it for private matches and use it for fun thats the only acceptable behaviour for hacks and mods. Roll on Modern Warfare 2!

I played COD4 ps3 platform 50 hours weekly , I see cheaters a lot, some body claim that PS3 haven’t
hackers! I got a lot experience in COD4 I usually finish on 3 place sometimes 1 first place , when i play with guys with more skill i recon finish on 4 place…..so if you see a guy on cod4 on line with rank 3 or 4,9 that’s mean is new with limited ammo and guns, buy he finished on 1 First place on 3 maps!! then you know he is cheating the game (in case you don’t saw him on speedhack)
I usually see then (cheating ) on PS3 with speedhack, aimbot, wallhacks and some stupids switch lag
which allow you to cut off for a few seconds your internet connection without quitting the game.
you can tell when a game is hack, your connection seen weird, you lost connection if the guy cheating take to long to switch back on game, also you shoot a guy the full magazine and then he kill you fast, if you see a guy killing as soon somebody shoot he is there right there with lightyspeed!! if you kill a guy check his name then if you dont move from that position he back on no time to your psosition acrooss the map to kill you!!! that fucking funny!!! if you see the host end the game! is not because he is mad, is because he saw a hacker taking advantage on him…so we hosts end the game every time we see a hacker . some times am giving hard times to hackers I study his move wait for then and kill the cheater, but this require skills anger and unfairly game, so you better off the game asap.

To the MapMonkey and COD Jumper the games are suppose to be fun but still somewhat based in reality. So rocket Jumps, and crap are well not so reality based. Nice sites and I agree no glitches just more bionic comando then modern warfare.

The problem I see with the cheating is that its getting out of hand. On a server with 40 people you can expect a fair share of aimbots and wall hacks

I play cod4 for the 360 and waw. It is amazing how many uncle fucking modding losers there are. Even if you own a modded controller and don’t use it ALL the time, you are still a chump. People work hard to earn money in order to purchase items such as these games and their gameplay is ruined. Know this: When you purchase a modded controller you are causing more harm to yourself than the anguish people suffer when cheated on. I know one thing is for sure and that is if you live even remotely close to me I will trick you, meet you and then smash your system and all accessories. And if you feel froggy, LEAP. I guarantee you will regret it.

Why cheat? Do you come from a long line of whores? Do you feel inadequate about yourself? Whatever the case may be: Stop. If I know you are cheating you get negative feed back and system tampering reports. Even if I suspect you to be cheating you get reported. And just because nothing happens initially does not expunge you completely. It will catch up to you.

As far as ‘strategic jumping’ goes, two thumbs up. All-in-all I love these games but it’s getting ridiculous when you pay 200-300 for a system, 59.99 for a game, 7.99 for xbox live, accessories and the costs of internet only to have some cyber geek cheat. People like to ask the question: Why get mad over a game and fake stats? Well, I and others put a lot of effort into those games and “stats”, probably two times more effort than those skill-less cheaters.

Hi people.I just wanted to say maybe you guys could post all the servers you feel that are best for fair gameplay.Im sure a hacker with find this info and hack the server just to make a point.But it might help get rid of a few of them if we can spot them.Also if thers a hacker that wants to redeeem himself make a tool to stop hacking in online gaming that would be impressive.Spped hack lag bots what evr you wanna call them take away from the game unless you just wanna go to a server were your with only other hackers.Thats the idea seperate us from those wanna be’s.All that talent and no skill its a shame.Welp you know how i feel and speed hacks might be more common then aim bot.Im from Unreal Tournament old school 1999 version with a 436 patch just switched to 451 patch made only one differnce it allowed me into more servers.Still doesnt matter though still hacked.Also now you have to download a boat load of dll files ect files just to enter the servers and ther all sped hacks and aim bots and mods with auto guns wepones that make absolutly no sence .Anyway i ran on.So gl finding a fair player most are dead tiered of losing to cheaters.And to the guy that wants a bot just type in bot im sure you’ll figure it out a baby could do it.

People who hack have real difficulty in getting kills in the game. They’ve played the game and been killed so often that they want to try to get even. The next time you are killed by a cheater remember that he is almost certainly a very bad player without the hacks…..

I was playing PC CODMw and i was in the COD WAR Public server.EVERYONE was botting or wall hacking. It got old really fast so i broke out the grenade launcher and went to town on them>:D

After a couple of months not playing I popped in COD4 in the ol’d PS3…
to be shocked by the modded and hacked maps and utter crap.

I find it a true shame that Activision has abandoned the game that kinda made the franchise a huge hit.

Now COD4 on the PS3 has become useless for everyone.. and I hereby am saying that I will never buy a COD game again. Whats the use if you can only enjoy if for 2 years or so????

the bottom line is guys we cant do anything about hackers…i believe someone mentioned something about activision..because they are the only ones that can reduce cheaters and hacks, maby they just made enough money and dont care about their millions of fans that help made them rich… at any rate i feel like alot of you i have lad love for the game but cheaters are making it so bad for me and i have been playing since the first cod came out….its about time someone does something or online gaming will soon be a thing of the past.

i know the secret to cod hackers. wen killed by them watch the kill cam. 2 key points are that 1. its automatic players that are in a base. 2. The commands are coulorful. They’re using the same software as Ds. I’ve also spotted that the players always hav atleast 1 uppercase letter in there name. Anyone out there who can make patches for games, hack the cod system and reverse the commands. It is possible to stop it

they can do something they just dont hav the software. Some people arent hackers. They tried to hack the system and patch it up. Unfortanlly they were detected by the hackers and their acounts were banned. Use the prestige level hack on to your computer. Then take off ur computer all security thingys. Turn off the firewall. Now try and use cheat engine 5.6.1 to hack into it and deassemble it. Tweak every bit of it and that might get you a few hacks destroyed, all hacks destroyed or it could make more hacks.

ha I wish I would have done that. I’m a pretty good player but black ops doesn’t care who’s the better player. it’s all on what gun you use and who’s playing. I got pissed and snapped in in half. worst game I’ve ever player is call of duty black ops. I still play modern warfare 2 but I’m quickly getting sick of not getting my kills and headshots. even my knife hasn’t been killing anyone lately. fast becoming a thing of the past as far as I’m concerned.

I myself am a pretty bad player most of the time (except on old school mode where i can just use the UZI or Skorpion to get kills.) but what i don’t get is why bad players stoop so low as to hack the game to win i mean it’s just a fun game. I know i’ll OCCASIONALLY use old school mode to jump high and find a good spot where i can get a few kills but then i won’t stay up there to get 1st place and not a single death. Hackers annoy me because sometimes i’ll join a game full of people that have hacked the game so they can run super fast and it annoys me that people do this because they’re shit players. I’m a shit player half the time but ya don’t see me hacking the game.

These example vids are the extreme ones, where people aren’t even trying to hide it. I hate it most when people are just on the edge. You just know they’re cheating, but it’s not obvious enough, which it needs to be to get them kicked. Like when you watch the killcam you see them clearly react to your presence even before you’re visible in their screen, or follow you spot on behind walls with their crosshairs even if you stop there for a sec, or turn around. They don’t shoot yet, because they’re smart enough not to make it too obvious, but you’re dead once one foot gets in their line of sight. Also guys using aimbots not to do all of the aiming, like in the vid, but just to make sure they don’t miss after they aim somewhat in your direction. That way, it’s impossible to prove. Like a sniper doing a huge turn and a perfectly aimed shot in a fraction of a second, constantly, even at very close range, or while jumping, that’s pretty much bullshit, but you can’t prove it. A little psychology can serve as a warning for possible cheaters: absurd arrogance is often a telltale sign (the kind that clearly vents the frustration of having lost so much before and now being a little too sure of themselves for obvious reasons), Dumb kid talk with lots of lolololol, noob, etc. (sure, someone who’s loud and dumb as bricks can have skill, but it’s a rare combination). The name tells something too, real good players have usually thought it over a bit, they want to be known/recognized with their name. Cheaters usually want to brag even with their name, or just be very anonymous. Still, with all these signs added together, there’s never a way to be really sure. It’s a shame that programs like punkbuster are so easily fooled. If a new virus gets out, practically all virus scanners are updated within days, but game hacks that even dumb kids can get their hands on, seem to easily slip though their detection. I just don’t get that.

The best way to identify a hacker is to look at the kill death ratio, 50 kills and 0 deaths tells you that there is a major problem. Also when you point a shotgun at point blank range, or use a knife for instant kill, and the player winds up killing you, after you blew him away TWICE or stabbed him in the throat and it didn’t work, thats when you know. Thats when you announce it REALLY LOAD over the game that said gamer is cheating, also tell everyone to report to XBOX LIVE NOT FILE A COMPLAINT but actually report a HACK. They will investigate the gamer, and then ban them, cause the only way to do it is through a MODDED XBOX, and then they get banned not by the Gamer Tag, but by the Serial Number of the XBOX.

The best part is when a MODDER who cheats on XBOX Live Games complains that they are kicked off xbox live for NO REASON, and its not fair. Or when they say that its not fair cause Cheating isnt good enough a reason to get kicked off xbox live. ITS IN THE TOS you MORON!!!!!

IF YOU MOD YOUR XBOX or CHEAT in ANY GAME, you get BANNED by SYSTEM. If you want to use XBOX LIVE then by doing so, you are instantly agreeing to XBOX LIVE TOS, that means you BAN YOURSELF. XBOX DOES NOT BAN ANYONE, YOU BAN YOURSELF WHEN YOU CHEAT OR MOD YOUR SYSTEM!!!!!

I used to play a lot of MW2 and enjoyed every minute of it (win or lose).  Now its just getting silly with the prolific use of hacks.  I didn’t even bother getting Black Ops.  Hacking just screws up everyone else’s fun.  Getting a high score by cheating means nothing to anyone other than the deluded moron using the hack, all the skill is in the coder that did the hacking not the dip-stick who installs it and thinks it makes them a better gamer all of a sudden.

I used to play a lot of MW2 and enjoyed every minute of it (win or lose).  Now its just getting silly with the prolific use of hacks.  I didn’t even bother getting Black Ops.  Hacking just screws up everyone else’s fun.  Getting a high score by cheating means nothing to anyone other than the deluded moron using the hack, all the skill is in the coder that did the hacking not the dip-stick who installs it and thinks it makes them a better gamer all of a sudden.

COD 4 is one of my favourite COD games but I am sick to death of all the writing coming up on the left hand side from hackers. It is limiting the visibility. I cannot see what they are getting out of it, apart from completely ruining game play for everyone else. I also see its on World at War now too. I think Infinity Ward and Microsoft should deal with these people and sort the problem out as both these games are still for sale in the shops. Please get it sorted!

 I was playing call of duty 4 just today and I dont cheat or hack or mod, whatever you even call it.  I just call it all cheating.  I needed a break from black ops so I went old school and broke out the call of duty 4 game thats been sitting.  I started playing and I seen it on the screen say me and my team were infected.  Next thing I know I didnt run out of ammo and I was like floating around its getting so bad that ppl like me that dont like cheating can get “infected” or whatever and it like they mod you.  I backed out and called xbox I couldnt believe what happend.  They are getting so good at cheating they can turn their whole team into cheaters even if you dont want too.  It makes it so you cant play.  I will back out and leave and not play before I ever cheat.  I earn every kill and everyheadshot I ever done.  I just feel sorry for someone they do that to and they get tired of leaving the game and get banned.  Its crazy what ppl can do.

I play call of duty 4, MW2 and black ops and am pretty good (if i do say so myself) i’m not mlg or anything but i can get a few good 360s and quickscopes maybe even a drop shot. but recently loads of servers are kicking or banning me because they immediately assume i am a hacker, its really annoying too and the only servers i can get on are the Netsky ones which are generally full when i prefer to play smaller sided games.

After many lobbies of hacked games, I’ve found several names of websites, and clans. {[GR]} is a major hacked clan I’ve found. Maybe they actually have talent, but not when “get infected lobbies for free at Moddedgaming.com” or when I constantly get “modded/hacked lobbies 10th prestige 1600 ms points”. I’m not even 10th prestige, I stopped after first because I don’t want 2 go through that grueling experience another 8 times, Plus, I like the icon. Either way, worst website: Moddedgaming.com. It’s where they are all getting the mods.

I play with hacks and mods and I assure you I am worthless. I know this because I always lose at everything, even though I cheat to try to win. Once I played a game legitimately and won and felt sick with myself. Make no mistake I am also a low form of nonviolent terrorist. Yeah mate know where you coming from. Balck ops is chokkas with cheaters. Sometimes its so bad your better of to just play by your self in combat training. If only treyarc would open up the combat training so that you have the same point scoring system as multiplayer. Then we can all experience what it is like to get some points and enjoy the game. That I am dissappointed is an under statement. By the way that is a nice bit of writing you done there. Keep up the good work. Good luck in the game

I would pay an extra buck a month just for cod if they had active cheat/mod/hack prevention for myself and others paying to recieve fair play.

it also seems needed ti add a highlight to players on the map who dont move from an area for more than 30 sec, have more than 6-7 kill in a row, or in the current game have more than a all 5 kpd ratio. this would really help keep the game moving while weeding out bots, hacks n cheats.

I’ve seen one that deranks someone on youtube.  A bunch of boosters thought they would get an instant prestige but it ended up resetting their level.  And yes, they had to accept it, so I guess if you make it sound appealing enough, they will.

I love cod 4. i got the gold cross after 18 days of gameplay, im now on 38 days. i never thought i would stop playing until now. the hacks have ruined the best game ever made. I put it to all you code writers or computer programers please try and stop them. try and patch it. challenge yourselves and beat the bots.

mw2 first hacker vid ETA on YT: 4 hours. No dedi’s, no admins but the guy hosting it, no console, no demorecording.
black ops: more of the same, this time with dedis exclusively hosting for GameServers so all the other hosting companies are screwed out of blcod business again(activision at work to control the multiplayer experience), plus loads of people didnt get it further up than 30 fps cause it shat all over their quad cpu’s

It may be clear that the CoD games arent made for Pc anymore, they are designed for console and subsequently ported to PC (where the fuck did my leaning go and why is there options to plug in controllers). Why? Cause Parents will give their kids an Xbox or PS3 before a PC, simply because it’s cheaper.

finds you all streaming servers with punkbuster. also GameViolations (GV), Airdale Ops Network (AON), PunksBusted (PsB) and GemeinSchaft Gegen Cheaters (GGC) are all Anti cheat sites that have alot of servers streaming to them, and for this reason each of mentioned  A/C sites gets a pummeling from time to time because cheaters with actual more notion of programming than  read the readme.txt and install a hack try to DDoS them and the servers streaming to them
You have to find the servers where people are that play for the love of the game. It’s pretty hard to be consistently cheating and go unnoticed on community-like servers
Don’t give up on CoD4 which may be obvious is my favorite game and last quality CoD that meant something. Sure PB catches only so much but that goes for any anti cheat.

I have several servers on CoD4 which i will not name to avoid unwanted attention from anyone reading this with not-so-good intentions. Haters are gonna hate. We care, and we own cheaters by the dozens.
