RPG jumping is a form of strategic jumping where you harness the power of the power of the weapon to hurtle yourself to new heights a normal jump couldn’t get you to. It may not be practical in your average game but it can still be a nice trick to show off to your friends. The below provides a nice tutorial on how to RPG jump in .

Modded Servers Call of Duty 4The excellent modding community for PC games is one of the things that separates them from consoles players. Sadly many players are not aware of modded servers and the custom maps available for PC players. For those unaware modded maps and gametypes are simply changes and upgrades made to the game by average people who love the game. There are mods for just about anything you could want, from drivable vehicles to entirely new maps to totally new weapons. So how do we get access to these mods and open to a whole new realm of possibilities?

Playing on modded servers is simple. First go to the list of online multiplayer servers like you would if you were joining an other game. Then click the “Filter” option from the menu at the top of the screen. Read more

Shotgun Call of Duty 4A lot of players feel that Shotguns are terrible weapons because of their lack of range; but if you have ever seen a skilled Shotgun class player you know this not to be the case. Shotguns can be amazing weapons, but the way you move and kill enemies with them is different than any other gun most people lack the skill to use them to their full potential. So here is a quick on how to use the shotguns in Call of Duty not just in close range situations, but to dominate any map and in any scenario. Also be sure to take a look at our COD4 shotgun review to determine which of the shotguns is the best.

The key to pwning with the Shotgun in games in general is not your aiming ability, the spread of the pellets is so large it’s almost impossible to miss, the key is to position yourself so your target is always within firing range. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that you can’t get a kill with the M1014 if the guy your shooting at is half way across the map. It’s the weekend so we are taking break from the serious Strategy related stuff and looking at a cute little easter egg in the game. If you have ever looked at the back of a black or golden Mini Uzi closely you may have noticed there is a small dirt smudge of what appears to be a fingerprint on the back of the weapon. Take a look at the two images below to see what I am talking about, englarged enhanced image is on the right.

Mini Uzi Call of Duty 4 Fingerprint Mini Uzi Close Up COD4 Fingerprint

To me the ovalish shape and lines look like a fingerprint of a thumb; but feel free to share any other theories you have. No other weapons have dirt smudges of any sort and the smudge is on a part of the weapon that the players hand never touch when reloading. My theory is that one of the game developers scanned their actual fingerprints and threw that image on the Uzi. Do any site members have experience in identifying fingerprints or access to a fingerprint database so we can try to figure out who the prints belong to? In any case feel free to comment with your own thoughts/theories.
